紀念黃秉乾院長

  Emeritus Professor Pien-Chien Huang was the founding father of NTHU College of Life Science and Department of Life Science 3 decades ago. He was the designer, incubator, and evergreen mentor of the very first undergraduate life science education program in Taiwan, as well as senior consultant of NTHU board committee, and continued to share his wisdom to many generations of faculty and students. He had not only bridged NTHU to world class academic palace, but also established frontier blueprints to impact our university and society.

  PC has brought the most advanced theoretical and practical plans to cultivate innovative education, research, and management at NTHU campus. Being a creative artist, scientist and scholar in nature, PC always encouraged young researchers to peacefully find a room, faithfully identify problems, widely open minds, smoothly communicate ideas, and finally solve the problems, which had inspired thousands of NTHU alumni with unforgettable memories. We successors must live and work harder to inherit his legend of passion and honor.
